This is a facsimile copy of a handwritten biography by Charles Frederick Moxon about his father Charles Moxon who, at one time held a Royal warrant as decorator to Queen Victoria. Only one copy is known to exist and is in the keeping of Rosie Turner, a granddaughter of Charles. Graham Jagger has carried out research into the life of the Court Painter and his notes are included.
