Moxon? Moxen? Moakson? Mokeson? Moxan? Moxham? Megson? Maggson? Moxom?

WELCOME to  The Moxon Society, a One-Name Family History Society dedicated to the name Moxon, and its many variants!  Founded in 1986 by James Roland ‘Jimmy’ Moxon, we have members worldwide who research their family histories, create family trees, and with the help of our more experienced members try to link all those trees into one united family tree. To be honest, that might be a task too far! But meanwhile, we enjoy the research and get together once a year – The Annual Gathering – to swap tales.

We also have a biannual Magazine included as part of our Membership, and a new research website which all Members can use to further their researches and to ask for help and information.

Welcome to the Home Page of The Moxon Society

We have recently refurbished this web site following on from the creation of a Members Only site which contains all our research findings, Magazine links, DNA results, Moxon Family Trees  and much more. If you like what you see on this site, please do consider joining The Moxon Society: we will offer you a warm welcome!

And if you find any errors or broken links, please let me know!
